Delivery & Postage FAQs
Why do I have to pay for delivery?
As much as we’d love to offer free delivery on all orders, rising packaging and postage costs make it impossible for us to fully cover these charges.
Our delivery fees are simply a small contribution toward the actual cost — we cover the rest.
Tip: If you have reward points, they can often exceed the delivery charge, meaning your shipping could effectively be free!
Standard charges:
£2.50 (under £15)
£2.95 (£15 - £30)
£3.50 (£30 - £45)
£4 (over £45)
Which delivery services do you use?
We use Royal Mail Tracked as our standard delivery service.
If you prefer DPD, the following options are available:
DPD Drop-Shop Delivery: £4.50
DPD Home Delivery: £6
Please note: DPD services are available to UK Mainland only.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to process all orders within 24 hours.
Depending on how busy we are, we will use:
Royal Mail Tracked 48 when dispatch is prompt (within 24 hours of placing the order)
Royal Mail Tracked 24 if dispatch is slightly delayed.
In either case, you should receive your parcel within 3 working days after placing your order.
DPD Customers:
Please note that our local DPD drop-off point does not receive collections on weekends, and weekday collections may be early in the morning. Therefore, orders placed after 5pm on Thursday may not be collected until Monday. However, Royal Mail collects from us on Saturdays, so often Royal Mail Tracked is much quicker than DPD (and cheaper!)

We will look for the best quote we can find for your country, and if the cost is agreed, we will send you an invoice for the order plus shipping

Do you accept National Book Tokens?
Yes! National Book Token cards can be redeemed (not the paper ones)! Just email us the long number and we will convert it to a digital voucher for you, OR better still, we will add the value to your reward points balance
Reward Points
Earn points and turn them into rewards!
You earn reward points on every purchase
£1 = 5 points and we have double-point events several times a year
You can earn points when you check out as a guest/visitor or member
You can only spend points if you have signed up as a member in the Members' Area
